Taking up women’s issues and concerns, the cell creates awareness of their rights and duties, and gives women a platform to share their experiences and views on their status in society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves. Aiming at the intellectual and social upliftment of female students, it runs guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes and welfare activities.
The cell is also responsible for following the mandatory guidelines and directions on security arrangements for girl students and women staff of the institution.
