CBIT is a member of the VTU Consortium for online electronic resources, giving access to more than 6,155 e-journals and 5,000+ e-books, along with newspapers and magazines for every engineering stream. As the campus is Wi-Fi enabled, students can also reach these resources remotely.

The library is fully automated with LIBSOFT, an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). Books can be searched through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) and are issued using a barcode system; all documents are classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification and arranged on open shelves for easy access and quick retrieval. With modern facilities and seating for 75 users at a time, the library’s main objective is to support teaching, learning and research.
