Pedestrian friendly pathway

The roads and sidewalks within the CBIT campus are in good condition. Walking routes are used for safe walking around campus. Motor vehicle access to campus is restricted. Security personnel are given a commitment at every turn and crossing the campus. Inside the main building of our campus, pedestrian paths are connected throughout the building blocks.
Vehicle Restricted Place

CBIT campus has three different parking lots for students and teachers to park their vehicles. Parking spaces for motorized vehicles such as cars and bicycles are parked closer to Gate. Motorized vehicles are strictly limited on our CBIT campus. The security personnel were ordered to stop the motor vehicle in front of security gate. Bicycles and electric cars are parked next to the house.
The CBIT campus has ample space for staff and student vehicles. There are three different parking slots on our campus. There is a parking slot for staff and students and a bicycle park near the gate. In the bicycle parking slot, students can park bicycles or electricity bikes in the main building. Students are instructed to use bicycles on campus to reduce pollution.

Plastic Free Campus
Plastic has become an almost unavoidable part of modern life .Its cheap ,easy to mass produce and ideal for many innovative technologies. CBIT is a plastic-free campus. We strive to measurably reduce plastic waste and pollution on our campus and in the world around us. To achieve this, we have committed to ban the use of single-use plastics in campus facilities in the canteen, hostel and shops.

Within the main structure of our CBIT, a sizable lawn, garden is utilized for multipurpose activities such as yoga, study, cultural events, and gatherings. For the enjoyment of future generations, CBIT’s sustainability efforts assist universities in protecting their current tree stock and planting new ones. While educating students on the value of conservation initiatives.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Battery electric vehicles are also called as BEV’s and more frequently called EVs, are fully electric vehicles with rechargeable batteries and no gasoline engine. Battery powered vehicles don’t use any gasoline, but instead run solely on electricity stored in a battery pack that energizes one or more electric motors and produces zero tail pipe emissions, these vehicles can be charged most anywhere, any time and usually at a much lower cost than fuel with gasoline.
