General Code of Conduct and Ethics for Students
- Be regular to the classes and maintain the minimum attendance of 85%in all theory and practical classes as per VTU norms.
- Maintain utmost discipline in the college campus, during theory and practical classes and also while travelling in college bus.
- Be punctual to the college and classes. You are directed to be present in the college before 50 am everyday and you will not be permitted to enter the classes after 9.05 am.
- The tea breaks in the morning session is between 10.50 – 11.10 am and the lunch break is from 00 – 1.40 pm. You are not permitted to come to classes late after the tea break and lunch break.
- You are not permitted to be absent for the classes without permission from the respective Class teachers & HOD.
- You have to submit Leave letter duly signed by your parent to the respective class teachers and HOD for availing leave.
- If you are absent for classes due to illness or any emergency, parents have to inform the class teacher and HOD over phone and you are directed to submit the leave letter signed by your parent along with Medical Certificate to the respective class teacher and HOD.
- You have to attend all the classes and laboratory classes on a given day and you are not permitted to skip or bunk any classes or laboratory classes and loiter or roam in the corridor/ campus and spend your time at the canteen. If you are found outside the classroom during class hours, suitable action will be taken.
- You are not permitted to leave the campus in between without proper valid reason and without permission of the class teacher, HOD and Principal.
- Follow proper Dress Code as per the college norms.
General Dress Code:
Boys: Formal Pant and Shirt with black or brown leather shoes.
Boys are Not permitted to wear jeans, low waist pants/jeans, Torn Jeans, Cut Jeans, Faded Jeans, Round Collar T-Shirts, T-shirts with messages, Shorts, Sleeveless garments.
Girls: Chudidhar with long top and veil.
Girls are Not permitted to wear jeans, Low waist jeans, Torn Jeans, Cut Jeans, Faded Jeans, Shorts, Round Collar T-Shirts, T-shirts with messages, Shorts, Sleeveless garments, Transparent Tops, Skirts, Tight fitting clothes, Leggings.
- Do not indulge in Ragging of any form and as per Govt of India orders Ragging of any form is punishable under Indian Penal Code [IPC] and you shall be debarred from College, University and you will not be able to continue your studies in any institute and university.
- Do not indulge in teasing of fellow students and other illegitimate activities that may lead to suspension from college.
- Respect your teachers, lab instructors, administrative staff & nonteaching staff of the college and fellow students. Do not misbehave with them.
