Electronics & Communication Engineering will contribute to the ever changing industrial requirements, economic growth and global societal needs by enhancing the technical skills and entrepreneurship abilities. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 and later enhanced to 120 in the year 2013. It aims at producing qualified Engineers in the area of Electronics. Seminars and workshops are regularly organized to update students with latest industry trends from reputed Organizations
The E & C Department is headed by Dr. G K Venkatesh with an academic experience of 22 years. The students and the faculty members of E & C department are very much encouraged to attend Workshops, Seminars and Conference. They are also active in conducting Research & publication of Papers in NATIONAL/ INTERNATIONAL conference proceedings/Journals. The Department emphasizes on importance of practical training with industrial visit to various companies like Infosys, Bharath Electronics Limited, NAL, HAL, LRDE, ISRO, BSNL, POWER GRID etc. The department is aiming at bringing out various technical consciousnesses towards the student community & realizing the institution’s mission to excel as good citizens.

It’s my pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department has experienced and well-qualified faculty members, well-equipped laboratories such as Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, Communication, and Microwave Engineering Laboratory, VLSI Design Laboratory, Microprocessor Laboratory, Embedded System Laboratory, Analog circuits Laboratory, HDL Laboratory etc. The department has been continuously growing since its establishment with an aim of preparing the students to excel in the industry and be successful in higher studies.
Department has organized various co-curricular/extracurricular activities like National conference, Webinar, Invited talks, extempore, debate, technical/non-technical quiz, circuit simulation, junkyard, etc. under Student Forum for the overall development of students.
We are committed to give our students an outcome based education through outcome based teaching and learning process which provides them an environment to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the programmes. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to implement practically the principles learned in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals.
The alumni of the department are not only excelling in India but also in abroad in the various reputed Companies like Wipro, Nokia, Accenture, Ericson, Videocon, Google, IBM, Capgemini etc. and other hubs of Electronics Technology.
