The committee constituted for the in-out campus maintenance and infrastructure development.

 Roles and Responsibilities

  1. To maintain the campus, including cleanliness, construction, painting, etc.
  2. Maintenance of CCTV camera surveillance at crucial points of the campus.
  3. To ensure safe drinking water of RO and regular cleaning of rest rooms.
  4. To maintain generators.
  5. Parking facilities to be kept clean and proper parking slots to be designated for faculties and students.
  6. To monitor the execution of tasks such as maintenance of electrical lines/fittings/fixtures in the campus.

 

Objective

To oversee the planning, maintenance, and development through physical infrastructure and facilities of the college.

Standard Operating Procedure for Institutional Infrastructure Development Committee

  1. The committee develops long-term plans and strategies for the development and enhancement of the college’s infrastructure.
  2. The maintenance and upkeep of college facilities, including buildings, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, and grounds
  3. Identifies areas in need of repairs, renovations, or upgrades and coordinates the implementation of improvement projects.
  4. The committee ensures that college facilities comply with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Conducts regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and address safety concerns in a timely manner.
  6. At the end of the academic year the annual & action taken report are to be submitted to IQAC.

Minutes of meeting Procedure

  1. All meetings shall be convened by the chairperson/convener with prior notice to all committee members.
  2. Minutes of meeting will be noted down by the convener and same will be discussed with committee members.
  3. It is compulsory for the members to attend the meeting.
  4. Maintenance of necessary records of the committee in a file: Notice/Photos/Statistical data /Minutes of meeting/Prepare brief report on events.
  5. Meeting: The Committee should meet at least once in every semester.
  6. Quorum:The quorum for the meeting shall be two-thirds of the total number of members.
  7. Record Keeping: The agenda, minutes of meeting and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained in a register and electronically in a retrievable format (scanned copy).
  8. Reporting:A copy of the same will be submitted to the IQAC of the college for preparation of various reports of IQAC.
