Campus placement is organized at college level throughout the year so that maximum number of students gets placed. Training and Placement Cell also guides the students for higher studies. It is as a result of our unique training methodology; we are always been preferred by premier corporate(s) to acquire fresh talent.

Department of Chemistry

The department was established in the year 2009. The department has well qualified faculty members with an average experience of 16 years. The department has well equipped laboratory to facilitate the students to carry out the experiments. To inculcate students to learn in achieving something substantial for developing their career and contemplate by solving Environmental problems of mankind. The Department is provided with well equipped lab and individual attention is given to the students. To motivate the faculty of the department to undertake research in addition to teaching undergraduates they are encouraged to participate in various National and International conferences in India and abroad to enhance their knowledge base. The Department is actively engaged in research areas of Pharmaceutics, Corrosion, Material Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry.

The Department of Physics has highly active and vibrant faculty members committed to impart high quality education for the first year BE students of all the branches.

The department offers Engineering Physics Theory and Laboratory courses for the First year B.E students of all branches. Department laboratory is very spacious and well established with latest & modern equipments to provide good hands-on experience to students. The Department has been getting excellent results both in theory and practical examinations.

Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics was started along with the institution in the year 2009. Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quality and arrangements. Mathematics is widely used in every engineering field. Engineering Mathematics has wide applications and skills applicable to multidisciplinary technology is a balanced, integrated engineering curriculum.

The importance of Mathematics in today’s scenario is a powerful tool in understanding and solving problems in any field. In particular engineering, where the physical laws governing the system are transformed into mathematical equations and solved. The results obtained are stimulated with the available data and constructive conclusions can be drawn from the model. Hence mathematics plays a very important role in shaping the career of an Engineer.

The department supports other core departments in imparting quality education in Mathematics up to the fourth semester education of the B.E courses. Mathematics is one which unifies all branches of science and Technology and reflects the spirit of rationality.

Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering established in the year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 and headed by Dr. Shivaraju R. The department is equipped with well-established laboratories and classrooms with highly qualified faculties of various specializations. The Forum of Civil Engineering – FCE of the department is an active & vibrant platform for conducting various activities viz., Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Industrial visits and student symposium. In addition, the department has Consultancy Cell, offering services for Third Party Inspection and material testing to cater the needs of PWD, Municipal authorities, local bodies and construction industries etc. The department has MOU with reputed organizations. The department has established Centre for Research Project in which a VTU sponsored research on Geo-Environmental Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Shivaraju R as Principal Investigator. All the faculties are dedicated and actively involved in academic, research and consultancy activities.

Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is continuously striving to achieve academic excellence by instilling capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and technical expertise. The department has well equipped work shop, machine shop and other laboratories that facilitates the students to explore the practical aspects of the various subjects and enhances their problem solving approach.

Dr. Aprameyan S, is heading the department right from its inception and he has nearly 33 years of teaching and research experience. The infrastructural facilities in the department are well augmented by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty with diverse specialization like thermal, manufacturing, machine design, CIM, materials science, etc.,

The department is recognized as Research Centre by VTU and research scholars can pursue research leading to Doctoral degree.

The department has qualified and experienced technical support staff in all the laboratories. The students of the department are regularly taken for industrial visits to apprise them of the latest developments in the field of mechanical engineering.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Electronics & Communication Engineering will contribute to the ever changing industrial requirements, economic growth and global societal needs by enhancing the technical skills and entrepreneurship abilities. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an initial intake of 60 and later enhanced to 120 in the year 2013. It aims at producing qualified Engineers in the area of Electronics. Seminars and workshops are regularly organized to update students with latest industry trends from reputed Organizations

The E & C Department is headed by Dr. SREERAMA REDDY G M with an academic experience of 28 years. The students and the faculty members of E & C department are very much encouraged to attend Workshops, Seminars and Conference. They are also active in conducting Research & publication of Papers in NATIONAL/ INTERNATIONAL conference proceedings/Journals. The Department emphasizes on importance of practical training with industrial visit to various companies like Infosys, Bharath Electronics Limited, NAL, HAL, LRDE, ISRO, BSNL, POWER GRID etc. The department is aiming at bringing out various technical consciousnesses towards the student community & realizing the institution’s mission to excel as good citizens.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

The main objective of the department is to provide academic excellence, knowledge and nurture talent in the area of Computer Science. The department has an excellent, dedicated, committed and experienced faculty. The Department has well equipped laboratory with state of the art infrastructure. To enable the students to update themselves with latest technologies, industry-institute interactions are arranged regularly. The students are encouraged to participate in the national level conferences and workshops. The Department also regularly organizes guest, invited lectures and conferences.

The Teaching-learning process put in place by the Department is well defined to help students explore the trending technologies via Skill Development Programmes.
